Meet the Founders

Two sisters uniting together to create the change you need in the world.

  • Polar Bear Kitchen is a gift from God. It is the reason I am alive. I was dismissed by my partners at Manifesto Cafe because they believed my business skills were taking a toll on the cafe. They hired an outsider to replace what I build and ultimately Manifesto Cafe closed a few months after my dismissal.

The sadness brought me a new vision a concept to start over...so I did. Several manifestations took formed. Polar Bear Kitchen became a catering company, a private chef, a bakery, ranch and pico de gallo sauce maker, a mad scientist, a "non-profit" that provided funds and a home for people in need, last but not least a smoothie company.

For each adventure of Polar Bear Kitchen took me closer to my center and ultimately led me to my purposes. My sister Montana stepped in two years ago on the 4th of July at Grand Park in DTLA when none of my smoothies sold. It was horrible. I had the product but I did not have the professional development of the company.

Montana stepped in with sparks of everything new and shining. However, I was not ready and my resistance was met with frustration and fear. I thought she wanted to take my business from me like my previous partners. But little did I know she wanted me to excel beyond my dreams for PBK.

A year passed and it was time for us to get business cards she put co-founder manager as her position. I was slightly taken back, but I knew deep down PBK will not be where it is now without Montana and her love for the company.

Polar Bear Kitchen is a sister company and a reflection of trust.
